Welcome to HomAI
HomAI is an AI-powered homeopathic case study assistant. It helps practitioners analyze clinical cases by extracting symptoms, matching them against classical homeopathic sources, and suggesting relevant remedies.
Getting Started
Creating a New Case
Click the + New Case button in the sidebar to create a new case. Write or paste your clinical case description in the text area. The more detailed and descriptive the case, the better the analysis will be.
Running an Analysis
Once you've entered your case, click the Analyze button. The analysis process has two phases:
- Phase 1: Reading and understanding the case, extracting clinical symptoms
- Phase 2: Cross-referencing with homeopathic sources and ranking remedies
Analysis Results
Case Overview
A brief summary of the main characteristics of the case, highlighting the most significant symptoms and constitutional features.
Normalized Clinical Symptoms
HomAI extracts and classifies symptoms into three categories following Hahnemann's hierarchy:
- Mental: Psychological and emotional symptoms (fears, anxieties, mood states, cognitive symptoms). These often carry the highest weight in remedy selection.
- General: Symptoms affecting the whole person (thermoregulation, sleep patterns, food desires/aversions, energy levels, modalities that affect the whole body).
- Local: Symptoms localized to specific body parts or organs (headaches, joint pains, skin conditions, digestive symptoms with specific locations).
This classification helps prioritize symptoms according to classical homeopathic principles, where mental and general symptoms typically guide remedy selection more than local symptoms.
Coverage Map
A visual representation showing which symptoms each suggested remedy covers. The bars show the proportion of Mental, General, and Local symptoms covered by each remedy.
Top Remedies
The remedies most likely to match the case, ranked by score. Each remedy card shows:
- Match score and percentage
- Key indications from classical sources
- Evidence references from Materia Medica and clinical cases
Final Remarks
Additional considerations for the case, including differential diagnosis points, follow-up suggestions, and symptoms that might need further investigation.
Prescription
The Prescription section (Rx icon in the analysis header) allows you to record your prescribed remedy for the case:
- Remedy: Enter the remedy name (autocomplete available from the remedy database)
- Potency: Select the potency type (CH, K, Q) and number (9, 15, 30, 200, 1M, 10M, 50M)
- Pathology: Optional ICD-11 code for the associated condition (with autocomplete search)
The prescription is saved with the case and can be exported with the analysis.
Chat Assistant
Use the chat panel on the right to ask questions about your case or the analysis. Before analysis, you can ask general homeopathy questions. After analysis, the assistant has context about your specific case and can help with:
- Deeper exploration of suggested remedies
- Differential diagnosis questions
- Follow-up case management
- Remedy comparisons
Configuration
Click the gear icon to adjust analysis parameters:
